DICE Productions

Annual / DICE Production Insurance is designed to cover multiple projects under one continuous policy, making it ideal for production companies that work throughout the year. Instead of securing separate insurance for each shoot, all qualifying productions are covered under a single annual program.

While core coverages such as general liability, equipment, auto, workers’ compensation, and location liability are typically included, certain activities — including stunts, water scenes, aerial work, drones, pyrotechnics, and other hazardous elements — require advance disclosure and underwriting approval.

Since this is a blanket program, it’s important to provide accurate information about your project types, locations, crew size, and risk exposures at the time of application. Early planning helps prevent coverage gaps, delays, or last-minute underwriting issues and ensures your productions remain properly protected year-round.

Annual DICE insurance is generally intended for productions that fall into documentary, industrial, commercial, or educational categories. Examples may include:

  • Commercials and branded content
  • Corporate videos and internal communications
  • Training and instructional videos
  • Non-profit and community storytelling content
  • Documentary projects produced on a recurring basis
  • Web and social content produced for clients

Coverage eligibility can vary by insurer, especially where project budgets, locations, or production activities introduce additional risk.
